Future Forces Forum 2024 Prague
The Hungarian Defence Export Agency had a national stand in Prague at the internationally renowned defence and security exhibition, which is designed to promote the national and security objectives of NATO allies and partner countries. The exhibition aims to foster security and defence cooperation and provide an opportunity to showcase the latest technologies and developments. During the 2024 exhibition, 200 exhibitors from 24 countries presented their innovations and more than 300 delegations attended the event, with a total of 8,350 visitors.
The national stand featured 8 Hungarian companies providing solutions in different sectors of the defence industry. Among the products and services on display were complex training systems to increase the efficiency of military training, as well as new generation CBRN detection vehicles and equipment to help defend against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats. There was also great interest in VR and AR-based simulation systems, which enable realistic immersive training to support faster acquisition of skills.
The exhibition also showcased advanced IT infrastructure and security solutions, adaptive e-learning platforms, which bring significant security and environmental benefits. Thermal imaging and detection systems were particularly noteworthy, as they enable rapid identification and detection, thus contributing to the success of various security operations. In addition, integrated solutions for spectrum monitoring and signalling systems also attracted widespread interest.
This international exhibition provided an excellent opportunity for Hungarian companies to showcase their innovations to an international audience, to find new partners and to establish collaborations. The contacts established during the event can lead to long-term collaborations, either in the form of joint development projects or supplier relationships. The active involvement of the Hungarian Defence Export Agency has contributed greatly to the strengthening of the position of Hungarian companies in the international defence market.
