Milipol Asia-Pacific 2024
The Hungarian Defence Export Agency (VEX) was an active participant in the Milipol Asia-Pacific 2024 exhibition, which took place in Singapore in early April. Six Hungarian companies presented their products and services to visitors at the VEX stand.
The 120-square-metre stand featured various products of the domestic defence industry. Gestamen's G9HSP handgun whitch can be either hammer-fired or striker-fired, as well as its G224LMG light machine gun, GHI-Csendes' bullet trap and modular shooting range solutions, attracted great interest at the event. Atlas Network/Globserver presented its low muzzle energy non-lethal small arms for crowd control purposes to the leaders of several Asian delegations. Gamma Technical Corporation successfully demonstrated its CBRN reconnaissance vehicles. The training system of GTS - Infinit Simulation with advanced VR technology for personalized and holistic tactical simulation environments was well received. In addition to Medirlab's explosion-proof (ATEX) Pyrolater thermal imaging camera, the Cyclops portable reconnaissance thermal imaging camera and the TraffiCapture TC-108 laser speed camera for vehicle speed monitoring were also on display.
Among others, the Hungarian Ambassador to Singapore, Judit Pach and the Israeli Ambassador visited the VEX stand. Several high-level military delegations were interested in Hungarian defence industry products at the Hungarian national stand, including delegations from Brunei, Israel, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines.
